Le petit sapin de Noël

크리스마스 트리로 쓰일 수 있을 사람들 집에 갈 수 있기 위하여 하루 빨리 성장하기를 간절히 바라는 어린 전나무의 이야기 입니다. 나이가 더 많고 경험이 더 많은 전나무들은 그에게 사람들 집에 있는게 그렇게 좋지는 않더라고 설명했습니다. 그러나 어른 전나무들의 말을 믿으려 하지 않았던 어린 전나무는 오래 기다릴 필요가 없었습니다.
그의 큰 기쁨을 위하여 아이들 몇명이 부모님과 함께 거실을 아름답게 꾸미는데 쓸 전나무를 선택하러 왔습니다. 아이들은 어린 전나무에게 반했습니다.
그는 베어져서 부모님과 아이들의 거실에 운반 되었고, 장식 되었습니다.
그는 장식이 된 후에 찬란하게 빛이 났습니다.
크리스마스가 다가오고 있었고, 모두들 어린 전나무를 보고 감탄했습니다.
어린 전나무는 어른 전나무들의 말이 틀렸다고 생각했고, 더욱 더 감탄을 받기 위하여 가지를 치껴 세웠습니다.
그는 1월달까지 거실 한켠을 차지하고 있었으나, 잎사귀를 잃어가기 시작했습니다.
이제 아무도 그를 바라보지도 않았고, 만지지도 않았고, 그의 조그만 잎사귀를 줍지도 않았습니다. 그래서 가족 모두가 어린 전나무를 지하실에 두기로 했습니다. 어린 전나무는 슬퍼지기 시작했고, 크리스마스 트리로 선택된 것을 후회하기 시작했습니다.
한없이 길게 느껴졌던 며칠간의 기다림 후에 전나무는 다시 땅에 심어졌습니다. 지하실에 갇혀 지냈던 기나긴 날들 끝에 그토록 그리워 했던 신선하고 오래 묵은 땅으로 돌아온 것이 그에게는 참으로 기쁜일이 아닐 수 없었습니다.
그런데 갑자기 그는 가족이 자기를 더 좋은 상태로 보관하려고 지하실 서늘한 곳에 놔두었다는 걸 깨달았습니다.
그렇게 매년 그는 땅과 거실에서의 생활을 반복했습니다. 그는 가족들 사이에서 행복하게 살았습니다. 결국엔 어른 전나무들의 말이 틀렸던 것입니다. 어떤 사람들은 선하니까요!

C’est l’histoire d’un petit sapin qui rêvait de grandir pour pouvoir aller chez les Hommes où il pourrait servir de sapin de Noël. Les autres arbres, plus vieux, et avec une plus grande expérience, lui expliquèrent que ce n’était pas si bien que ça. Mais le petit sapin, qui ne voulait pas croire les anciens, n’eut pas longtemps à attendre.
En effet, pour son plus grand plaisir, des enfants vinrent avec leurs parents choisir un sapin pour embellir le salon. Les enfants eurent le coup de foudre pour le petit sapin.
Il fut coupé, puis emmené dans la salle de séjour des parents et des enfants où il fut décoré.Après cette séance de décoration du petit sapin, il brillait de mille feux.
Noël se rapprochait, tout le monde admirait le sapin..
Le jeune sapin pensait : “Tous ses grands sapins avaient tort” et il releva ses branches pour qu’il soit admiré encore plus.
Jusqu’en janvier, il trôna dans le salon ; mais il commença à perdre ses aiguilles.
Plus personne ne le regardait, ne le touchait où même ne ramassait ses petites aiguilles. Puis, toute la famille décida de mettre le sapin à la cave. Le sapin commença à devenir triste et à regretter d’avoir été choisi.
Après quelques jours d’attente qui lui parurent une éternité, le sapin fût replanté. Quelle joie pour lui de retrouver sa bonne vieille terre fraîche qui lui avait tant manqué pendant ces longs jours où il était resté enfermé à la cave !!
Mais tout à coup, il comprit que sa famille l’avait laissé bien au frais à la cave, pour mieux le conserver...
Comme ça, chaque année, on le déterrerait pour le remettre dans le salon. Il vécut heureux parmi sa famille d’Hommes. Et oui, finalement, les grands arbres avaient tort, certains Hommes sont bons !
