Royaume de Silla ou Shilla

Pour beaucoup, la Corée du Sud n'existe que depuis sa partition en 1945.

For many people, South Korea is that since its partition in 1945.

Pourtant son existence est pourrait-on dire « aussi vieille que le monde » et surtout d'une grande richesse historique et archéologique.

Au commencement de l'ère chrétienne la Corée était composée de trois royaumes :

• Goryeo un territoire qui forme aujourd'hui la Mandchourie et la Corée du Nord
• Baekje qui s'étendait sur une large bande situé entre Pékin et Shangaï ainsi qu'au sud-ouest de la Corée actuelle. C'était un royaume riche et prospère
• Silla tout petit territoire au sud-est de la Corée dans une ligne Nord sud passant à peu près au niveau de Chungju. Il possédait également quelques colonies sur ce qui est aujourd'hui la côte ouest du Japon. C'est le côté diplomate de la Corée - 

• Goryeo territory what is now Manchuria and North Korea
• Baekje which extended over a broad band located between Beijing and Shanghai and to the southwest of Korea today. It was a rich and prosperous kingdom
• Silla small area southeast of Korea in a north south across at about the level of Chungju.He also had a few colonies of what is now the west coast of Japan. That's the diplomat Korea.

Il faut croire que la diplomatie fonctionne mieux que le « vas t'en guerre » car au VIIè siècle, le petit royaume de Silla réalise, le premier, l'unité des trois royaumes, amenant la paix et la prospérité pendant environ 300 ans. Un exploit soit dit en passant et qu'on aimerait bien retrouver en nos temps agités.

We must believe that diplomacy works better than "go thee war" as the seventh century, the small kingdom of Silla realized, first, the unity of the three kingdoms, bringing peace and prosperity for about 300 years. A feat by the way and we would like to find in our turbulent times.

Bien entendu il ne faut pas rêver!! - Of course we shouldn’t dream!!

Premièrement le royaume a été aidé par la Chine, qui, au bout du compte s'est fait légèrement gruger dans ses aspirations et ensuite il bénéficiait d'un point stratégique pour attaquer les deux autres royaumes en même temps.

First the kingdom was helped by China, which ultimately became a little chew in its aspirations and then he benefited from a strategic point to attack the other two kingdoms together.

Le gouvernement devient centralisé et la gestion du pays tourne autour de cinq Castres hiérarchiquement l'une en dessous de l'autre.

Tout n'est malheureusement pas rose dans ce royaume. L’être humain étant ce qu'il est, le riche (et noble)  continue à s'enrichir et à comploter pour obtenir plus de pouvoir et de richesse tandis que le peuple s' appauvrie. Mais enfin ils ontun gouvernement central basé à Gyeongju.

Unfortunately isn’t all rosy in this kingdom. Human beings being what it is, the rich (and noble) continues to enrich and plotting to get more power and wealth while the people’s impoverished. But they are a central government based in Gyeongju.

Son déclin viendra du fondement même de son organisation.

Les peuples appauvris commencent à se rebeller créant des clans éphémères avec des chefs qui le sont tout autant. Le pouvoir central déjà amoindri par des complots souffre de ces guerres intestines et quand les grandes familles de la caste la plus élevée commenceront à se battre entres elles, que le roi proviendra de la famille qui a le plus d'appui, mais sera en but au complot des autres et ainsi de suite, les castres éclateront.

The impoverished people start to rebel clans creating ephemeral with leaders who are just as important. The central government already weakened by the plots of these wars is suffering and when the great families of the highest caste begin to fight among themselves that the king will come from the family who has the most support, but will aim the plot of the others and so on.

En 918, un homme met tout le monde d'accord. Il s'agit de Wang Geon fils d'une famille de très riche marchand il remporte la victoire et fondant la dynastie de Goryeo (nom abrégé de Goguryeo) unie la Corée. C'est du nom de ce Royaume que viendra le nom de Corée.

In 918, a man puts everyone agrees. This is Wang Geon son of a rich merchant family he was victorious and founded the dynasty of Goryeo (Goguryeo short name) united Korea. This is the name of this kingdom that comes the name of Korea.

Mais le royaume de Silla a malgré tout permis l'existence d'un énorme trésor archéologique.

But the kingdom of Silla was still possible that there is an enormous archeological treasure.

Gyeongju restera capitale de la Corée pendant 1000 ans et figure aujourd'hui au patrimoine mondial de l'humanité. Des fouilles impressionnantes dans les quelques 200 tumulus funéraires ont permis de mettre à jour quelques 11000 trésors dont certain d'or et de pierreries et d'aucun pensent que le sol n'a pas livré tous ses secrets.

Gyeongju will remain the capital of Korea for 1000 years and is now world heritage of mankind. Excavations impressive in the 200 burial mounds have to update some 11,000 treasures of gold and some gems and some believe that the ground has not revealed all its secrets.
